Get to know Olympus Dental Ceramics

Whether it’s my Greek heritage (a culture with a deep appreciation for artistic expression), or the enjoyment I get from working with my hands, I strive to imbue everything I do with creativity and craftsmanship. My profession is certainly no exception.

After Graduating with an applied science degree in dental laboratory technology from Hasting Community College of Nebraska, I began my career as an in-house ceramic designer for Bassett and Wallace five years before opening Olympus Dental Ceramics in 1995.

As I sharpened my skills during those first few years, I started to notice a major gap in the dental restoration industry: the big-name laboratories consistently prioritize speed and quantity above all else, leaving no room for the kind of quality discerning dentists desire, or the kind of work that my artistic soul demanded.

That’s when I decided to try things differently — to build a new business based on delivering a better experience for dentists and their clients. That’s how Olympus Dental Ceramics was born.
